Mansion Plans Doors open at the White House June 7, 1982 Graceland The willingness of Elvis Presley has named her father, Vernon Presley as executor and trustee. The beneficiaries were his nearest relatives, Minnie Mae Presley (grandmother), Vernon Presley (father) and Lisa Marie Presley (his only child). Elvis Presley died in 1977 legacy. Another development of major tourist attraction has been the opening of the Automobile Museum at Graceland, Elvis Presley Plaza in 1989. The Graceland Mansion has continued to grow and become a tourist site profitable. In the second half of 1980, Graceland Crossing, which is a nearby shopping mall, with stores that featured Elvis-related items, was constructed. Graceland Crossing is located just north of Graceland Plaza. It was independently owned until purchased Graceland in the fall of 1997 as an addition to Graceland Mansion visitor facilities. Following this purchase was another important event that involved the purchase of a hotel property near existing. The property was renovated and renamed "Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel" in 1999. It is the continued expansion and continuous improvement of visitor facilities Graceland Mansion. The development of new Elvis exhibition projects are planned for the Graceland complex as well, and since the opening of Graceland to the public in 1982, it has welcomed millions of visitors from all EU Member States and almost all countries world.
